The Kick-In is the University of Twente welcoming weeks for new students. During these daysstudents get their first impressions of the region, its culture, the university, and the city, and people. To ensure a warm welcome (not just weather wise, which was super warm!), students get to know associations and initiatives that help them settle in and feel home.

During the Kick-In newcomers get to meet new people, sign up for cultural, sports, and other student associations. They are also informed about practicalities, activities and initiatives happening in the city. In collaboration with the Gemeente Enschede, Keeping Talent in Twente participated in the Kick-In welcoming students, letting them know about spots in the city, and informing them about opportunities and projects they could get involved if they would like to stay after their studies.
